January 2014 saw the inaugural Harp Holiday event. It was held in Blackheath, Blue Mountains. Great fun was had by all and many laughs shared. The open exchange of all things harp was obviously the main aim. The event saw a variety of participants, from beginners to the advanced, the classically trained to home-spun pluckers. Some examples of previous participants included (but is not limited to) university student, dentist, a linguist, chauffeur, waitress, bar staff, both tertiary and high school students. In total around 40 harpist attended. The Harp Holiday culminated in a concert dinner which was enjoyed by all.
